Our Next Observed Holiday
Our next observed holiday will be Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26th. During this week, residential and commercial service will be delayed - Thursday service will be provided on Friday, Friday service will be provided on Saturday.

Yard Waste Rececyling/Holiday Trees
Yard waste may be collected three ways: containers/compostable bags (no plastic bags), green 96-gallon carts or tied into bundles. Do not put yard waste in the trash.
  • Containers/Compostable Bags: Standard trash containers and compostable bags must not be great than 40 gallons and cannot weigh more than 60 pounds.
  • Green 96-gallon carts may be rented from Allied Waste Services. The carts hold the equivalent of three standard trash bags and can weigh up to 200 pounds. To order green waste carts order online or call (619) 421-9400.
  • Bundles: Should be tied with string or twine and cannot be longer than 4 feet, 18 inches in diameter or 35 pounds.
Holiday Trees will be collected on your scheduled service day. Remove all ornaments, tinsel and plastic or metal stands. Whenever possible cut trees into 4-foot sections or less.
Acceptable Yard Waste

Tree and grass clippings and clean lumber. Please remember the weight limit of 60lbs per can.

Produce from fruit trees, Halloween pumpkins, farm manure (i.e. horse, cow, pig and rabbit), straw and sawdust are also accepted.

Non Acceptable Yard Waste
  • No PLASTIC BAGS or nursery pots
  • No nails, rocks, dirt, concrete or asphalt
  • No painted/treated wood or hazardous waste
  • No trash or pet waste
